Good to see Spielberg back in action. An exciting masterpiece. Making movies to reflect history is a critical path and some elements have to be toned down which have been in Munich.












One of the years best movies, Syriana tries to show the shades of politics-business tie ups that movies seldom portray. One only had to read the headlines in the news to see the validity of the concept. No where else can you see people completely turning blind to the elephant other than in US.







Based on Swift's book, Jarhead joins the list with Full Metal Jacket. Sadly, the events seem to be the same after 13 (?) years. There are things beyond the 'Army of One' commercials that people seldom talk about.







Three contenders that I'm sure will bag a good chunk of Golden Statues.
